Do you charge fees for your service?
Most of our clients pay no broker fees we are paid by the lender instead. Where fees do apply (for complex cases, such as Equity Release or commercial mortgages), we will tell you upfront before we do any work. There are never any hidden charges.
How is a mortgage broker different from going to my bank?
Banks typically only offer their own mortgage products. As a whole-of-market broker, we search a large panel of lenders with thousands of products to find the best deal for your specific circumstances. We also handle all the paperwork and liaise with lenders on your behalf.
How long does the mortgage process take?
From application to completion typically takes 8-12 weeks, though this varies depending on the property chain and lender. We can often get you a mortgage agreement in principle within 24-48 hours.
What do I need to bring to our first meeting?
Just bring yourself! We will discuss your situation first, then let you know what documents we will need. Typically, this includes proof of income (payslips or accounts), ID, and bank statements, but we will guide you through exactly what’s needed.
Can you help if I'm self-employed or a contractor?
I have a poor credit history. Can you still help?
